Description

Take off with a plane from the airport in Annecy

Once you’ve arrived at the Annecy Haute-Savoie Mont Blanc Airport, you can join our offices where you’ll be welcomed by our pilot. He will accompany you to the hangar with the aircrafts whilst providing you with some safety instructions.

Take a seat on the plane, a Robin DR400 with a panoramic window or a CESSNA 182, and let yourself be guided by our professional pilots on the way to the glaciers like you’ve never seen them before !

Seatbelts fastened, helmet and speaker on and comfortably seated, you are ready to talk with the pilot like a true airman. Ready to take off, there you go on a fascinating guided experience.

Airplane or gyrocopter, which one ?

Planes and gyrocopters  (ULM, ultra light motorised) do not have the same aerial regulations.

With a plane you will be able to fly higher than with an ULM, that’s why we can offer plane flights that go to Mont Blanc whereas an ULM is forbidden at this altitude. On the other hand you will be able to fly closer to the ground with an ULM.

Planes for tourism purposes have 4 seats (pilot included). So this aircraft allows you to share the experience with your loved ones. The ULM can only carry 2 people of which only one passenger so you’ll have some one on one time with the pilot who can answer all of your questions and satisfy all your wishes, if possible !

So the plane is the perfect choice for a longer flight with your family, friends or boyfriend/girlfriend while the ULM is great for a more local and solitary flight !

Specific flight conditions

  • Up to 3 people are allowed on the plane (without counting the pilot).
  • Minimum age for an airplane flight : from 2 years old.
  • No weight limit, but for people over 100kg it is necessary to notify us in advance.
  • Specific equipment for the flight : No, the plane is heated. But don’t forget your sunglasses and camera !
  • Available period to fly : we are open 7/7 all year round because no season is better then the others. It mostly depends on what you’re looking for, some will prefer seeing the snow whereas other like the colors in the spring or autumn. It’s up to you ! 🙂
  • Only the pilot is in a position to decide if the flight is maintained or not.
  • People suffering from a medical condition must get an autorisation of their attending physician beforehand.
  • It is not possible to suffer from fear of heights while flying in our planes. If you have any ear problems we advice you ask for a medical opinion.
  • Pregnant women : flying is possible with a medical autorisation.
  • Waiting area for the companions : you have the possibility to wait at the reception of our office in a warm and welcoming area or enjoy our terrace with panoramic view on the airport.
