Description
What is waterskiing ?
As you can imagine, waterskiing is, well, skiing on water. Pulled behind a tow boat with a rope and handle, skis on, you slide on the water ! For the more experienced, you can even ski on the waves made by the boat.
Waterskiing from 2 years old
Even the youngest ones, from 2 years old can try out waterskiing. This way they can discover their first sliding sensations on very large and stable skis, holding on to a bar on the side of the boat and with an instructor by their side to help them !
What’s the difference between wakeboarding and waterskiing ?
Wakeboarding takes place exactly the same way as waterskiing, the only difference is the board that looks like a snowboard instead of skis.
As for wakesurfing, it consists in riding the boat’s wake. Contrary to wakeboarding, your feet our not attached to the board when you surf. You’re pulled out of the water with a tow rope but once you’re up on the wake, you can let go of the handle and surf the wake as long as you want/can ! We recommend wakesurfing for people with already some wakeboarding experience.
A private boat for an entire group
With friends or family, the best way to enjoy this activity is to rent a private boat with instructor. This way you can share this moment with the entire group, even those who don’t want to try out wakeboarding or waterskiing can come on the boat to watch. And you can each decide how much time on the water you’d like.
