The 5 most beautiful hikes of Lake Annecy

This article offers you a chance to get to know the most renowned hikes around Lake Annecy !

No matter what hiking level you have, you can enjoy wonderful views of the purest lake in Europe. I recommend you take the difficulty level of each hike into account.

La Tournette hike

Definitely the highest peak around Lake Annecy, the hike up to la Tournette offers a 360 panoramic view on the northern Alps, La Pointe Percée and Mont Blanc (that’s sometimes hidden behind clouds in case of high temperatures). And you’ll most likely have the chance to see some ibexes on the way.

Careful, in order to get to the seat (rocky culmination on the mountain) you have to get passed a few rocks (the passage is equipped with cables) and climb up two ladders. As you won’t have as many safety equipments as for a via ferrata hike, I advise you assure the youngest ones with a small rope !
